Background to Facial Reflexology
Dien Chan Zone Facial Reflexology is the most complete method of Facial Reflexology in the world, originating from Vietnam and adapted over the last twenty years in Italy. Rachael has completed training with Helen Black (of the International Academy of Italian Facial Reflexology) and is one of the first Dien Chan Zone Operators in the UK.
Facial Reflexology is a method of sending a message from the outside of the body to the inside, via the nervous system. In this way, we can work on improving and alleviating any issues affecting the receiver. Often one treatment is all that is needed to facilitate well-being and people experience immediate improvements.
After your consultation, the treatment usually takes place lying comfortably, facing upwards and supported on the treatment bed. The treatment begins with relaxing and rebalancing stimulation of reflex points on the face then will focus on any specific issues discussed during the consultation. Most people find the treatment to be extremely relaxing and meditative. Afterwards, you will receive personalised instructions for self-massage at home in order to continue to work on your issues.
This treatment is suitable for all women’s health issues including:
- Menstrual issues such as PMS, painful menstruation, amenorrhea, irregular cycles.
- Menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, insomnia, low libido.
- Pregnancy: stress, muscular pain and discomfort, insomnia, morning sickness and nausea. Most suitable for the first trimester. if you are further on in your pregnancy, I would recommend foot reflexology instead.
