Our Story So Far

Rachael Hose is the Complementary Therapist behind Atlas Therapies who specialises in providing aromatherapy, facial massage and reflexology. Out with running her own practice, Rachael also established the first complementary therapies service in Ross Hall Hospital.

Rachael graduated with a Bachelor of Midwifery from Glasgow Caledonian University and went on to work in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. It was while working as a midwife that she became aware of the benefits of complementary therapies and how many people were beginning to use them to help achieve and maintain wellbeing. Her journey to becoming a therapist continued in Aberdeen where she studied Complementary Therapies and received a Diploma in the subject. Since then she has chosen to specialise in providing complementary therapies to those who are pregnant or are trying to conceive and completed training accredited by the Royal College of Midwives.

As a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, Rachael adheres to the professional Code of Conduct, which means that she is fully insured and committed to professional development and strives to learn new techniques and therapies to provide her clients with the most effective treatments.
